Yes. DO NOT RETURN TO STORE. THIS IS NOT AN ITEM COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY. There are several factors that can contribute to your RipStik® casterboard wheels wear. First, check to make sure the wheel guard (on models prior to March 2007) is not bent against the wheel causing it to touch and/or rub on the wheel. Since the motion of the RipStik® is created by the wheels, casters and the swiveling of the rider the wheels wear out very quickly. This is not a defect but a result of normal wear and tear. The wear and tear effect can be exacerbated by a first time user and wheel longevity should improve with the improvement in skill of the rider. The surface conditions that the RipStik® casterboard is being ridden on can also have an effect on the wear and tear of the wheels, rough asphalt for example will cause the wheels to wear out very quickly.
This Limited Warranty is the only warranty for RipStik® casterboards. There is no other express or implied warranty. The manufacturer warranties this product to be free of manufacturing defects for a period of six months from date of purchase. This Limited Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, nor any damage, failure or loss caused by improper assembly, maintenance, storage or use of the caster board. This Limited Warranty will be void if the product is ever:
- used in a manner other than for recreation or transportation;
- modified in any way;
- rented.

CHECK LOCAL LAWS REGARDING CASTERBOARD USE. Check local laws and regulations to see where and how you may use your RipStik® casterboard legally. In many states and local areas caster board riders may be required BY LAW to wear a helmet. Check local laws and regulations regarding laws governing helmet use and caster board operation in your area. Never ride in traffic or on the street and watch your surroundings for pedestrians, bikes, and skateboard and scooter riders. Use the caster board in areas free from fixed or moving hazards, such as poles, curbs, hydrants, walls, parked automobiles and traffic. Use the casterboard only on smooth, dry, level ground without loose debris, such as rocks or gravel. Rough surfaces increase wheel wear and tear.
